Terms of Service

Welcome to SaviPets. These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement") govern the relationship between SaviPets LLC ("SaviPets", "we", "us") and the client ("Client", "you"). By booking an "IceBreaker" or utilizing any of our pet care services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

SaviPets LLC provides professional in-home pet care services, including GPS-tracked dog walking, overnight stays, drop-in pet sitting, and pet transport, primarily serving Wayne, Berwyn, and the Main Line, PA. SaviPets also operates a digital booking platform and mobile application to facilitate scheduling, communication, and payment for these services. Specific service details, times, and rates will be agreed upon during your IceBreaker consultation or via our booking platform prior to service commencement.

2. Booking, Payment, & Cancellations

• Payment: Payment for services is due as agreed upon during booking. We reserve the right to require a deposit for overnight or extended stays. All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor (Square or Stripe). SaviPets does not collect, transmit, or store credit card details or bank routing information.
• Cancellations: We require advance notice for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee up to the full cost of the scheduled service. Holiday bookings may have stricter cancellation policies.
• Communications & SMS: By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional text messages (SMS) from SaviPets regarding your bookings, pet updates, and emergencies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying "STOP", which will immediately deactivate your SMS notifications.

3. Veterinary Emergency & Medical Release

The health and safety of your pet is our top priority.

• Authorization: In the event of a medical emergency where we cannot reach you, you authorize SaviPets to seek emergency veterinary care for your pet at a clinic of our choosing (preferring your designated vet when possible). You further authorize SaviPets to approve emergency medical care up to a maximum limit of $1,500 USD if you cannot be reached.
• Financial Responsibility: The Client agrees to assume full financial responsibility for any and all veterinary care expenses incurred. SaviPets is released from any liability related to the decision to seek, or not seek, emergency medical treatment.

4. Liability & Indemnification

• Pet Behavior: The Client is solely responsible and liable for the behavior and actions of their pet(s). The Client agrees to indemnify and hold SaviPets harmless from any claims, damages, or injuries caused by their pet to third parties, other animals, or property.
• Property Damage: SaviPets will treat your home with the utmost respect. However, we are not liable for any property damage caused by your pet.
• Limitation of Liability: Client agrees to waive and relinquish any claims against SaviPets for injury, escape, illness, or death of a pet, except in cases of proven gross negligence or intentional misconduct by SaviPets. Under no circumstances shall SaviPets' total liability exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service during which the claim arose.
• Website & App Disclaimer: With respect to the SaviPets website and mobile application: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SAVIPETS LLC, ITS AFFILIATES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE DIGITAL PLATFORM. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SAVIPETS LLC BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS, OR INJURY RESULTING FROM HACKING, TAMPERING, OR OTHER UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS OR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR YOUR ACCOUNT OR THE INFORMATION CONTAINED THEREIN.

5. Home Access & Security

• The Client agrees to provide reliable access to the home (e.g., functioning keys, accurate alarm codes).
• SaviPets is not responsible for the security of the premises or any loss/damage to the home if other individuals (e.g., housekeepers, contractors, family members, landlords) have access to the home during the service period.

6. Pet Safety & Aggression

• Vaccinations: Client warrants that all pets are fully vaccinated (including Rabies) and licensed in accordance with Pennsylvania Dog Law (3 P.S. §§ 459-101), and on appropriate flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
• Aggression: Client must disclose any history of aggression or biting. SaviPets reserves the right to terminate service immediately, without refund, if a pet poses a physical danger to our team members or the public.
• Equipment: Client is responsible for providing safe, properly functioning equipment (collars, harnesses, leashes). SaviPets is not liable for escapes resulting from faulty equipment provided by the Client.
• Yard / Invisible Fence: SaviPets is not liable for electronic collar failure or containment issues regarding invisible fencing.
• Leash & Escape Policy: Except in designated, fully enclosed off-leash areas, all dogs will be kept on a secure leash at all times in accordance with local municipal leash ordinances. In the event that a pet escapes, SaviPets will notify the Owner and local animal control immediately. Owner agrees to waive all claims of liability against SaviPets for accidental escape or injury of the pet, provided SaviPets adhered to reasonable standards of care.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

8. Modifications

SaviPets reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Active clients will be notified of material changes.

By continuing to use our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
